Concrete or steel? Concrete is the heavier option and is effectively immovable once placed, which makes it the usual specification for park benches, promenades and municipal spaces where theft and vandalism are a concern. Steel is lighter and easier to relocate, and suits courtyards, shopping centres and estate gardens. Both are built for permanent outdoor use in South African conditions.

Streetscape concrete benches sit at a seat height of 450mm above ground across the range, which is the standard for public seating. Backless designs finish at that height, while designs with a backrest run to between 650mm and 750mm overall. Each product page lists its own dimensions.
Lengths run from 1500mm to 2400mm. The D Quad is the shortest at 1500mm. The Classic Seat, Slimline, Arch Seat, Bridge Seat and Tri Seat All are 1800mm. The Company Gardens bench is the longest at 2400mm. Exact dimensions are on each product page.
Concrete benches are heavy and difficult to move, which suits unsupervised parks, verges and public squares. Steel benches are lighter and simpler to install or reposition, which suits managed sites such as schools, campuses and office parks. Streetscape manufactures both, so the site decides.
Yes. Streetscape casts two concrete table sets, a round set at 1100mm diameter and a rectangular set at 1500 by 400mm, both standing 760mm above ground. They suit picnic areas, school grounds and public courtyards where seating and a surface are needed together.
