Bins

Outdoor refuse bins made in Cape Town

Streetscape manufactures eighteen outdoor refuse bin designs, ten in concrete and eight in steel, for parks, streets, shopping centres, schools, office parks and municipal spaces. All are made at the Streetscape factory in Cape Town and delivered anywhere in South Africa.

Concrete or steel?

Concrete bins are heavy and hard to move, tip or remove, which suits unsupervised public spaces, open parks and roadside positions. Steel bins are lighter, easier to install and reposition, and available in wall-mounted versions for covered walkways and narrow frontages where floor space is limited. Streetscape manufactures both ranges, so the decision is about the site rather than the supplier.
